LIS Assembly Showcases Unity and Tradition During Chinese New Year Celebration

LABUAN — Labuan International School (LIS) recently celebrated Chinese New Year 2026 with lively lion and dragon dance performances at the school.

A spokesperson for LIS said the Chinese New Year Assembly was filled with vibrant energy, meaningful traditions and a strong sense of community spirit.

“It was a beautiful reminder of how diversity strengthens us as one school family,” the spokesperson said.

Among those present were Labuan Corporation Advisory Board member Datuk Seri Tiong Chiong Kui; Justice of the Peace (JP) Datuk Seri Goh Sin Han; general manager of Lion Transport Sendirian Berhad, Clement Tiong; deputy director of the Science and Mathematics Unit (Labuan Education Department), Norhayati Yahya; chief executive officer of LIS, Raaj Ganesh Chandragasan; and LIS principal Fadlin Aimuni.
