KOTA KINABALU — The Sabah Dusun Muslim Organisation (PDIS) Unity Golf Tournament 2026, held recently at Dalit Bay Golf and Country Club, concluded successfully, bringing together participants in a spirit of goodwill and fellowship.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Datuk Seri Panglima Jahid Jahim, representing PDIS Patron Datin Seri Panglima Datuk Hajah Juliah Salag, marking the occasion as a significant event in the organisation’s calendar.
The tournament drew a strong turnout of golfers from government-linked companies (GLCs), private corporations, and individual participants, reflecting the broad support the event has garnered across various sectors of the community.
On the sidelines of the tournament, PDIS President Datuk Haji Raisin bin Saidin handed over documents pertaining to the SK Bawing Transit Dormitory in Pitas to the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) Chairperson. The handover underscored PDIS’s ongoing commitment to advancing education and community welfare in Sabah.
Organisers expressed their gratitude to all sponsors whose contributions were instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of the event.
PDIS hopes the tournament will serve as a continuing platform to foster unity, cooperation, and prosperity among the community.
