Health Department Continues Monitoring of Ramadan Bazaars in Labuan

LABUAN — Enforcement officers from the Food Safety and Quality Division of the Labuan Federal Territory Health Department will continue to monitor Ramadan bazaars at several designated locations on the island.

A spokesperson for the department said inspections at the bazaars focus on aspects such as food handling training, typhoid vaccination, proper apron attire, safe food storage, and control of food safety processes at each stall.

“Our officers are also providing advisory services to traders to ensure compliance with the Food Hygiene Regulations 2009,” the spokesperson said.
