LABUAN — Asian Supply Base (ASB) Sdn. Bhd. continues to drive local employment and industrial growth while fostering a sustainable business ecosystem on the island, according to its chairman, Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman.

“ASB is more than just a business; it is a catalyst for economic growth in Labuan. A company’s success must align with the well-being of its community,” Suhaili said yesterday during the ASB Iftar Ceremony 2026. The event, held at a local hotel, hosted members of the asnaf community, persons with disabilities, and orphans.

Suhaili, who is also the Member of Parliament for Labuan, noted that as ASB approaches its 42nd anniversary, the company remains committed to its role in developing the local economy and upholding its corporate social responsibility.

“In this blessed month of Ramadan, let us continue to cultivate a culture of giving. Every sincere contribution brings blessings and strengthens our community bonds,” he said, expressing his hope for ASB’s continued progress.

During the ceremony, 100 recipients from the asnaf community, alongside orphans and persons with disabilities, received contributions from ASB to ease their financial burdens and brighten their Ramadan celebrations.

Also present were Deputy Chairman of the ASB Board of Directors, Datuk Aziah Atoh, Chief Executive Officer of ASB, Datuk Japar Esteban and other ASB officials.
