LABUAN — The Labuan Museum, Labuan Marine Museum and Chimney Museum will be closed on the first and second day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
All museums will resume normal operations on the third day of Hari Raya.
A spokesperson for the Labuan Museum said the temporary closure allows staff to observe the festive celebration while ensuring services return to normal shortly after the holiday.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors again from the third day of Hari Raya and hope their visit to our museums will provide meaningful experiences and valuable knowledge about Labuan’s history and heritage,” the spokesperson said.
The public is informed that parking spaces around the Labuan Museum area are under the management of the museum and are provided free of charge for visitors who wish to conduct business or visit the following offices:
- Labuan Museum
- Pos Malaysia Office
- TMPoint Office
- Tourism Malaysia Labuan Office
- Galeri Lawa
Visitors are advised not to park in spaces marked with cones, as these areas are reserved for Labuan Museum officers and staff from 7.30am to 6.00pm daily.
Outside these hours, parking spaces marked with cones may be used by the public.
“We appreciate the cooperation of visitors in observing the parking guidelines to ensure smooth operations and comfort for everyone,” the spokesperson added.
