MENUMBOK — The fare for speed boat services between Menumbok and the Federal Territory of Labuan will revert to the original rate of RM9, effective Tuesday (Nov 11, 2025).
The Menumbok Speed Boat Operators Association announced the revision following discussions held on Nov 10 with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) and several related agencies.
The meeting focused on the ministry’s approval to provide fuel (petrol) subsidies to all participating boat operators, which will help reduce operating costs and restore the fare to its previous rate.
“We greatly appreciate the continued support of our passengers and regret any inconvenience caused,” the association said in a statement.
