KOTA MARUDU, Sabah — Police are looking for a 16-year-old girl identified as Effie Litah Jastimin, a Dusun from Kampung Simpangan, who was reported missing.
Kota Marudu District Police Chief, Superintendent Simun Lomudin, stated in a press release that the family lodged a police report regarding the missing teenager at 1:34 pm yesterday at the Kota Marudu District Police Headquarters.
“The family informed the police that on February 14, at around 9:30 am, the victim left her home without her family’s knowledge. Search efforts have been carried out; however, she has not yet been found.
“The victim is described as having a slim build, fair complexion, black eyes, thin eyebrows, and long black hair reaching shoulder length,” he said.
Meanwhile, Simun urged members of the public with any information about the victim to immediately contact Sgt. Stephen Wan at 019-4695081, the Kota Marudu District Police Headquarters at 088-666449, or the nearest police station.
