LABUAN — The Chief Executive Officer of Labuan Corporation (LC), Rithuan Mohd. Ismail, visited two project sites yesterday, namely Anjung Budaya Labuan Corporation and Kinabenuwa Mangrove Ecological Park, to ensure the projects were being implemented with full integrity in accordance with procedures and regulations.
“These projects are being carried out as tourist attractions and leisure and recreational areas, equipped with facilities and infrastructure that can be utilised by Labuan residents, tourists, and visitors,” said Rithuan, who succeeded Mohd. Sukuran Taib on February 16.
The upgrading project involves improvements to the Anjung Budaya Labuan Corporation building and the nearby beach, including the installation of lighting at the Layang-Layangan Beach Festival site.
Meanwhile, toilet and surau facilities are being constructed at Kinabenuwa Mangrove Ecological Park.
Accompanying Rithuan were staffs of the LC Department of Development and Engineering project team.
