KUCHING — The Sarawak Deaf Sports Association (SSDeaf) successfully held its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday at Theatre Hotel.
The AGM was more than just a regular meeting — it served as an important platform to present the achievements of 2025, including successes at SOPMA XXII Sarawak 2025 and the participation of athletes in the Deaflympics Tokyo 2025.
The new leadership lineup for the 2026–2028 term comprises Ko Ming Liang (President), Nur Malihah Chai Abdullah (Deputy President), Wan Arif Mahmud Wan Umar (Vice President I), Lau Yok Lok (Vice President II), Tiang Ching Kong (Vice President III), Abdul Mutalib Rosli (Secretary), Nurfatin Azua Abdul Malek (Deputy Secretary), Hii Lik Nguong (Treasurer), and Yong Phil Ping (Deputy Treasurer).
Also present at the AGM were Sarawak Minister of Women, Children and Community Wellbeing Development (KPWK), Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, and Vice President of the Malaysian Deaf Sports Association (MSDeaf), Ong Shin Ruenn, who showed their support for the development of deaf sports in the state.
