LABUAN — The Labuan Water Supply Department has issued a notice regarding an unscheduled water supply disruption affecting Kg Bebuloh Laut and nearby areas today.
According to the department, the disruption is due to repair works on a burst 100mm asbestos cement (AC) pipe along Jalan Bebuloh.
Repair works began at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until completion.
A department spokesperson said that water supply is expected to gradually return within 8 to 24 hours after repair works are fully completed.
“Efforts are being carried out as quickly as possible to restore normal water supply. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation,” the spokesperson said.
Residents in affected areas are advised to monitor updates via the department’s official Facebook and Instagram channels. Any complaints can be directed to the department’s hotline.
