SEPANG — AirAsia has urged job seekers to remain vigilant against a fraudulent website impersonating its official career portal and attempting to scam applicants.
In a statement today, an AirAsia spokesperson said a fake recruitment website, airasiaexpress.com, is currently circulating and targeting individuals seeking employment opportunities with the airline.
“The fraudulent website mimics AirAsia’s official careers page to collect personal information and falsely requests ‘processing fees’ as part of a fake hiring process,” the spokesperson said.
AirAsia stressed that its only official careers portal is careers.airasia.com and that the company does not charge any processing fees for job applications.
“Applicants are strongly advised not to share personal details or make any payments to unauthorised websites or individuals claiming to represent AirAsia,” the spokesperson added.
The airline said it is continuing to monitor such fraudulent activities and encouraged the public to verify all recruitment information through its official channels.
