LABUAN – Some 55 pupils of Labuan International School (LIS) comprising three ‘Shooting Star’ classes of six-year-olds recently graduated.

The Kindergarten Graduation and Prize Giving Ceremony for the graduates was held at the LIS auditorium.

LIS principal Fadlin Aimuni in her welcoming address congratulated all the graduates for their achievements.

“They have worked hard, learned new things, and grown into curious, confident children. We are so proud of each one of them. They have come so far this year. They have learned new skills, discovered their strengths, and shown curiosity in everything they do.

“Most importantly, they have learned to be kind, confident, and brave. These qualities will guide them as they step into primary school.

“Every child blooms at their own time, and every blossom is beautiful. Our children have different strengths — whether in art, music, sports, storytelling, or problem-solving. We hope they keep exploring and discovering what they love,” she said.

She also thanked the parents and teachers for their support, patience, and care.

Present to officiate the ceremony was the chief assistant director (language unit and learning sector) of the Labuan Education Department, Amia Bua.

Also present was the head of LIS Kindergarten, Stephania Tay.
