LABUAN — Labuan Corporation informed the public that Jalan Bunga Tanjung will be temporarily closed on May 9 (tomorrow) to facilitate the removal of hazardous amenity trees in the area.
A spokesperson said the closure will take place from 2pm until midnight.
“The works are being carried out to ensure the safety of road users and members of the public in the surrounding area,” the spokesperson said.
The works will be undertaken by a contractor appointed by Labuan Corporation under the supervision of the relevant authorities to ensure the operations are conducted in an orderly and safe manner.
The spokesperson added that the road closure is subject to current weather conditions to ensure the works can be carried out safely and smoothly.
Members of the public are advised to use alternative routes and comply with all safety signboards and instructions issued by personnel on duty throughout the duration of the works.
Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted, and the cooperation and understanding of the public are greatly appreciated.
