LABUAN — Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus (UMSKAL) held its first Staff Yasin Recitation Programme today to strengthen ties among staff and seek blessings for the campus community.
The programme, organised by the Islamic Affairs and Mosque Sector, began at 9.30 am at Bilik Sri Menanti, UMSKAL.
Head of the Islamic Affairs and Mosque Sector, Ustaz Alfaiz Darsono, expressed appreciation to staff members who took the time to attend the religious gathering.
He said the programme served as a platform to foster closer bonds among staff while seeking blessings, well-being and protection for themselves, their families, the UMSKAL community and the ummah.
The event also featured a potluck session, with staff contributing food as part of the spirit of sharing and strengthening fellowship.
The organisers hoped the participation of staff in the programme would bring blessings and rewards from Allah SWT.
