LABUAN — Maxim Malaysia participated in the 2026 Maulidur Rasul celebration organised by the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (JAWI) Labuan, with about 30 of its partner drivers joining the procession here.
The Maxim Labuan group was among participants who took part in the celebration and procession, which started and ended at Dataran Labuan.
Maxim Labuan representative Aiman Syafiq said the participation provided an opportunity for the company’s partner drivers to come together and take part in a meaningful community event.
“We are very happy to receive and fulfil invitations to meaningful programmes such as this. Our participation is not simply about attending an event, but also about being part of the Labuan community.
“We are proud to bring together around 30 partner drivers to participate in the procession and represent Maxim,” he said.
Aiman said as an e-hailing service operating in Labuan, Maxim was closely connected to the daily movement of residents and visitors across the island.
He said the company also valued opportunities for its partner drivers to participate in community activities beyond their usual role of providing transportation services.
A Maxim partner driver who participated in the procession said the event provided an opportunity for the drivers to come together and represent the company while taking part in a community celebration.
“Usually, we meet customers and provide transportation services, but today we had the opportunity to come together as one group and participate in an important community celebration.
“I am happy that we were given this opportunity to participate,” he said.
Maxim Malaysia said participation in community events such as the Maulidur Rasul celebration was part of its efforts to maintain a connection with the communities in which its partner drivers operate.
The company said it would continue supporting initiatives that encourage community participation, togetherness and positive social values while providing accessible transportation services and income opportunities for its partner-driver community.
