LABUAN — A seafood operator in Labuan has been compounded for failing to display clear prices for seafood items offered to customers, following a complaint lodged by a consumer.
The action was taken by the enforcement team of the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) Labuan after receiving information and complaints from the public, prompting an inspection at the premises at about 7 pm yesterday.
KPDN Labuan director Junaidah Arbain said the inspection found that the operator had failed to display prices for the seafood dishes listed in the menu provided to customers.
