LABUAN — The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) Labuan branch today took enforcement action against a supermarket outside Labuan town after it was found using an expired linear measuring instrument for trade purposes.
The inspection by KPDN Labuan enforcement officers found that the premises was using a 100-centimetre wooden ruler bearing the Arrow brand as a measuring instrument for commercial transactions.
Checks revealed that the instrument’s verification had expired on Oct 18, 2025, but it was still being used for trade purposes at the premises.
