Transforming Central into a Winter Wonderland (14 November 2025 – 4 January 2026)

“Winter Wonderland in Central” promises to fill the city with Christmas joy through a dazzling array of events. For the first time, iconic landmarks in Central will be illuminated for an “Immersive Light Show in Central,” while a 20-metre-high outdoor Christmas tree will tower over a lively Christmas Town. Nearby, Chater Road will sparkle as Starlight Boulevard, seamlessly connecting to “Noëlia at LANDMARK”—the largest festive installation ever staged at LANDMARK ATRIUM and one of Hong Kong’s most anticipated annual attractions.

Together, these events will create a glittering visual symphony, lighting up Central’s skyline like a string of brilliant Christmas tree lights.

Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) Chairman Dr Peter Lam said, “This year’s Hong Kong WinterFest is presented in a new format with the most extensive lineup and richest event elements to date. We aim to create a strong festive atmosphere across the city and reinforce Hong Kong’s position as Asia’s top winter travel destination.

“We’re delighted to collaborate with Hongkong Land to turn Central into a Winter Wonderland. Alongside the new ‘Immersive Light Show in Central,’ the area will become a vibrant festive hotspot. This initiative not only enriches the holiday experience for residents and visitors but also stimulates the seasonal economy. We’re grateful for the support of our partners, including the Quality Tourism Services Association, the Hong Kong Retail Management Association, and numerous attractions and malls offering festive dining, shopping, and entertainment experiences.”

Statue Square Garden Becomes a Christmas Town (14 November 2025 – 4 January 2026)

From 14 November, Statue Square Garden will be transformed into a Christmas Town, inviting visitors of all ages to experience the childlike wonder of winter. The festive setting will feature colorful toy-themed decorations, from miniature trains to spaceships and puppets, evoking the charm of a storybook Christmas.

As the holiday season approaches, visitors can enjoy live carol performances and surprise appearances by Santa Claus, adding extra doses of cheer. A Christmas market featuring 12 festive chalets will open on 28 November, offering seasonal delicacies, unique gifts, and hands-on workshops — the perfect recipe for an unforgettable holiday experience.

At the heart of Christmas Town stands its glittering centerpiece: a 20-metre-tall Christmas tree, wrapped in shimmering ribbons and glowing warmly against the night sky. Extending the festive spirit, Chater Road will be transformed into Starlight Boulevard, with more than 30 trees adorned in twinkling lights. Pedestrian bridges will also be illuminated, and a dazzling Christmas tree light installation will be suspended above the entrance to Chater House, forming a stunning visual focal point.

Every evening at 5 p.m., the lights will bathe Chater Road in festive brilliance, creating an open-air Christmas experience not to be missed.

Continuing along the golden canopy of lights, visitors will arrive at “Noëlia at LANDMARK” inside LANDMARK ATRIUM — a 30-metre-wide installation featuring an 11-metre-high lighthouse and Hong Kong’s largest interactive 12×12-metre Wishing Lake, offering countless photo-worthy moments for families and friends.

Eight Iconic Buildings Unite for the “Immersive Lights Show in Central” (28 November 2025 – 4 January 2026)

A major highlight of this year’s WinterFest will be the debut of the “Immersive Lights Show in Central.” From 28 November, eight iconic buildings surrounding Christmas Town will, for the first time, serve as an immense canvas for a stunning multimedia light-and-music spectacular.

Using 3D projection mapping, lighting effects, and festive melodies, the show will bring to life enchanting images of reindeer, angels, snowmen, and gift boxes projected onto both heritage landmarks and modern skyscrapers. The lifelike visuals will appear to dance among the Christmas Town trees, set to beloved holiday tunes, creating an unforgettable sensory experience that captures the energy and magic of Hong Kong’s nightscape.
