LABUAN — The Student Volunteer Club of Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Labuan International Campus (KESUWA-KAL) recently organized a ‘Publicity Outreach’ program at Sekolah Menengah St. Anthony here to equip students with essential digital graphic design skills.
The initiative, held in collaboration with the Labuan Faculty of International Finance Student Association (PMFKAL), aimed to enhance students’ capabilities using digital platforms such as Canva, aligning with modern industry demands.
SM St. Anthony Principal Wong Tong Moi, who officiated the closing ceremony, expressed her appreciation to the organizers for providing an interactive and practical learning platform for the students.
She emphasized that developing both soft skills and digital literacy is crucial for students to prepare for future challenges.
The program received an overwhelming response from the students, who actively participated throughout the activities, boosting their creativity and confidence in producing quality digital content.
Meanwhile, the organizers expressed hope that such programs will continue in the future to strengthen collaborative ties between higher education institutions and schools, ultimately nurturing more competitive students.
