LABUAN — The ‘Edusahabat: Future Generation 2.0’ programme, involving Form Four and Five students, was successfully held recently at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Pantai to prepare youths for the challenges of the 21st century.
The initiative reflects the continuous commitment of the school, in collaboration with the Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus (UMSKAL) Student Volunteer Club, to produce a competitive and visionary young generation.
The programme was officiated by SMK Pantai Senior Assistant, Wilter Jonathan Ebang. The event was also supported by UMSKAL Student Volunteer Club Coordinator, Noreffaizza Jali, and Gen MAPA Programme Director, Ann Veatcey Mexlon.
A major highlight of the event was a motivational talk delivered by Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Deputy Chief Psychology Officer, Nur Iman Reedzal. The session inspired students to build self-confidence, effectively manage academic stress, and plan their futures with greater focus.
In addition, the programme was enlivened by group activities that emphasised teamwork, leadership, and creativity.
These interactive sessions provided a platform for students to engage actively, hone their communication skills, and build a positive network of friendships.
