LABUAN — SK Lubok Temiang’s School Teachers and Community Club (KGKS) had organized the school-level Teachers’ Day celebration today, embracing a nostalgic “Back to School” theme at the school’s hall of Dewan Gemilang.
The vibrant event was attended by the school’s headmistress, Faridah Abdul Rahman, Senior Assistant of Administration Muharna@Ana Shariff Mucklie, Senior Assistant of Student Affairs (HEM) Sunah Tahir, and Senior Assistant of Co-curriculum Syamsul Reduan.
Also present to witness and support the festivities were KGKS chairman Aznan Abidin and representatives from the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
Faridah, in her address, emphasized that the annual celebration holds profound significance and impact for the entire school community, serving as a platform to recognize the immense sacrifices, dedication, and commitment of teachers in shaping the future generation.
“In conjunction with this Teachers’ Day, it is my hope that all educators will continue to strengthen their resolve and commitment to fulfilling the trust of educating our nation’s children with utmost dedication, sincerity, and integrity.
“Teachers must also constantly strive to improve the quality of teaching by adopting creative, innovative, and student-centred approaches, in line with modern educational needs,” she said.
The celebration aimed to foster mutual respect, boost teacher morale, and strengthen ties between teachers, students, administrators, and the wider school community. It also served to highlight the pivotal role educators play in developing high-quality human capital for nation-building.
A total of 40 teachers and three pre-school assistants of SK Lubok Temiang participated in the event, which featured various interactive activities, including telematch games.
