Over 50 UMSKAL Students Join Women Health Talk 2.0

LABUAN — More than 50 Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus (UMSKAL) students took part in the Women Health Talk 2.0 programme aimed at raising awareness on mental health and social support among female students.

The programme, organised by the UMSKAL Student Representative Council, was held recently at the Gapura Room, UMSKAL.

It was coordinated by programme coordinator Noreffaizza Jali and led by programme director Nursyafika Natasya.

UMS Student Affairs Department Deputy Chief Psychology Officer Nur Iman Reedzal delivered a motivational talk titled “Time Out Circle: Let’s Support Each Other”.

The talk focused on the importance of peer support, stress management and building a supportive community among students.

Nur Iman also reminded students to always prioritise their personal safety wherever they are.

The programme also featured interactive question-and-answer sessions, experience-sharing and support activities aimed at encouraging a spirit of togetherness among participants.
